Pillows-the first of many

I have wanted to make some pillows for my living room for a while now and I finally got around to it! Now that I have done some, I am pretty sure it is the first batch of many to come because I found out that I REALLY like decorative pillows!
The ruffle one was the most time consuming because I do not have a ruffler on my sewing machine but even with that they were pretty easy to make.

I LOVE those pillows. I too have wanted to make pillows for our couch but just have not gotten around to making them. I seriously love them Chrissy! Now I can't wait to get a sewing machine so that I can make these fun things! I am impressed.

Where could you find affordable fabric? Or, did you just have to splurge to be sure it they looked cute? I'm still debating if I should splurge, or just wait until i can find some cute affordable fabric.

Tami-They are just fat quarters from Joann's! They were on sale for $1 and it took $9 total...(the ruffle ones took the most)
(but I had the white fabric before) and I got the stuffing at Hobby Lobby. Lisa-I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Funny, I have been DYING to sew a ruffle pillow....this rekindled that desire. :) Hopefully I'll have a pillow post somewhere in the semi-near future. ;) They turned out ADORABLE.
