The Flying Savvy

Savannah started getting in the little baby bouncer and playing with her toys in it. She probably thought the swing would just let her sit in it too. But if it surprised her that it started swinging, it didn't for long....
She was having so much fun!!

Our little dare devil.

Sledding on Saturday Morning

Mom does not get the sledding award : )

Sledding for the first time!

Dad is braving the snow, he has been excited about taking Savannah sledding all winter! It finally had a good snow that wasn't too cold when we could take her out! We left Judah with our friends Marla and Gustavo(oh how we love them!) and were able to go sledding with Savvy.
The great thing about Savannah is how much she likes the cold. She thinks it is funny. She was really good and didn't get fussy at all. We had a great time!

Oh the process of learning....

Savannah is learning to use a spoon for the first time (oh dear) ....not too bad I guess, considering...
for some reason it won't let me upload the video, but it is really funny..I did get to post it on facebook. I love that girl.

Two in One

TWO in ONE

2010 was a very busy year for us.
We had TWO babies in ONE year. It was pretty tiring to be pregnant with a baby, especially with her being so little and dependent. It may have been a little harder than most people's first time baby but all in all I wouldn't change a thing now.
But I am really happy not being pregnant right now! (if we had the same situation, I would have been pregnant for a week already) The break from pregnancy is AWESOME! I have so much more energy and wrestling these two is much easier than it was with Savannah and being pregnant with Judah. I love having both of them, Savannah makes me laugh constantly and Judah smiles and talks to me all day long.
It is a little bit of a juggling trick sometimes to keep these two happy : ) Savannah thinks that all bottles belong to her and if she doesn't have one she has no problem walking over and taking Judah's right out of his mouth.
Savannah does LOVE Judah though. It is a little challenging sometimes to keep her away from him. She will try and pat his head but she doesn't quite realize that it feels more like smacking his head to him. But she does bend her head down and touch it to Judah's and she smiles. I hope they will be really good friends.

Our Savvy Lu is now a walking girl!!

video

Savannah started walking at 10 1/2 months. She does really well and learned very quickly. I just love it when she walks to me especially with her big smile on her face, it would melt anyone's heart but especially mine

Goofy Girl

Adventures in the Living Room

I am not sure if exhaustion is an excuse or not but all I can say is sometimes it causes neglect...: ) small explanation...I sleep out in the living room with Judah while he is so new. I woke up and was fixing his blankets to find he had no diaper on...apparently I went to change him in the middle of the night and I didn't finish the job, I must have fallen right asleep. Poor little guy, he has a crazy mother
